Family owned and based in Palmerston North, we combine design expertise, craftsmanship, and seamless installation for homeowners across the Lower North Island.

At Window Trendz, we have always stood for one thing. Doing it properly.

The business was founded in 1990 by my grandparents, Barbara and Allan Bennett, from a small curtain consultancy on Princess Street in Palmerston North. What began as a modest, fabric focused service quickly earned a reputation for quality workmanship, honest advice, and attention to detail.

By 2002, that reputation had outgrown the original space and the showroom expanded. The fabric library grew. The client base strengthened. And Window Trendz became a trusted name across the Manawatū.

Today, you will find us on the corner of Victoria Avenue and Main Street, home to the largest curtain fabric library in the region. While the showroom is bigger and the team has grown, the standards remain the same.

I am proud to carry the business forward. We continue to focus on craftsmanship, considered design, and professional installation. Many of our clients return time and time again, not just because of what we do, but how we do it.

Window Trendz is not simply about curtains and blinds. It is about creating spaces that feel complete. Thoughtfully finished. Comfortable. Refined.

Our History

    1990 - The beginning

    In 1990, Allan and Barbara Bennett, new locals to Palmerston North, established the business known as Window Trendz. The business was first located out of a small retail premises on Princess St.

    2002 - The move

    After agreeing to engage in a number of medium-scale commercial projects, the Princess St premises was quickly outgrown and the search began for a larger premises. In 2002, the Waldegrave St site was purchased.

    2002 - 2020

    Throughout 2000-2020 the business was located in Waldegrave Street, and through our showroom we supplied, and installed curtains to many of the regions leading homes and businesses.

    2020 - Present

    Following a considerable amount of business growth from 2017-2020, in late 2020, the decision was made to re-locate to a large retail premises, centrally located on the Corner of Victoria Ave & Main St, Palmerston North.
