Window Trendz Wraps Landmark Homes’ New Showhome in Style

We’ve just finished up at the stunning new Landmark Homes showhome on Churcher Street in Feilding — and we’re thrilled with how it all came together.

This home has serious street appeal with its textured and variegated timber cladding, black joinery, and sharp lines. But step inside and it’s the softer touches that bring it to life — including the blinds and curtains we installed throughout.

Another proud Genesis Interior Design, Window Trendz and Landmark Homes collaboration

Dual Curtains: Style Meets Practicality

Throughout the home, we installed dual curtains — a sheer front layer for daytime softness and light diffusion, paired with a blockout layer for night-time privacy and insulation. The combination is timeless, practical, and works beautifully with the home’s natural textures and modern palette.

In the living and dining areas, the full-height sheers let in plenty of natural light while toning down the glare — and those hidden blockouts are ready to work when privacy or warmth is needed. They’re mounted on a sleek double track system, butting into the ceiling for that clean, architectural finish.

Bedrooms That Feel Like a Hotel (But You Can Live in Them)

Each bedroom continues the same layered look — soft sheers for a calming feel during the day, and lined curtains that block out the world when it’s time to switch off. It’s a setup that looks good and works hard.

And peeking out behind those layers? 63mm timber-look Venetians. Their wider slats add depth and a dash of designer edge, giving that just-checked-into-a-boutique-hotel vibe. They're perfect for controlling morning light without losing privacy — and yes, they look as sharp open as they do closed.

Built to Impress, Finished with Finesse

It was a pleasure working alongside the Landmark team to complete this space. Their attention to detail made it easy to design window furnishings that didn’t just fill a gap, but elevated the overall feel of the home.

If you're visiting the showhome soon, keep an eye on the curtains! And if you’re planning a new build yourself, let’s chat — we’d love to help bring your vision to life too.
