Five hundred blinds. One weekend.

Fitting out a government office isn't like dressing a home. Nobody's browsing fabric books over coffee. The brief for the Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency offices was plainly commercial: supply and install more than 500 roller blinds, and do it without interrupting a single working day. So we did it in one weekend. Staff left their desks on Friday with bare glass. They came back Monday to a fully fitted floor.

A job like that is won in the preparation, not on the day. Every window measured and every blind manufactured in advance, checked, labelled by floor and by room, and sequenced so the install teams never stood around waiting or doubled back. On the weekend itself it becomes choreography: crews moving through the building in order, floor by floor, while the office slept.
