Who we are

What we collect, and why

When you fill in a form (book a free measure and quote, the guided quote, the outdoor blinds quiz, the interior design enquiry, or a callback request) we collect what you type: your name, your phone number or email, your suburb, what you are looking at, window details, a good time to call and any note you add. We use it to contact you, arrange your free measure and quote, and follow up. We only use it for that.

Where you came from. With each enquiry we also record the page you were on, the page you first arrived at, the website or advert that sent you, and any campaign details in the link (including Google and Facebook click identifiers). This tells us which of our marketing is working.

When you visit the site, the tools listed below collect information about your visit, such as the pages you view and the type of device and browser you use.

When you call us from the website. We use a call-tracking service (PhoneWagon) that shows us which advertising led to a phone call.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the services that help us run the website and handle enquiries: our website host, the systems we use to receive and manage enquiries, Google (Analytics, Ads and Tag Manager), Meta, and our call-tracking service. Some of these providers are based overseas, so information about your visit may be processed outside New Zealand.

Cookies and similar storage

Cookies are small files that a website saves in your browser. The tools above also use your browser's local storage, which works in the same way. This site sets the following, a moment after the page has loaded.

None of these are needed for the site to work. Forms, menus and pages work the same without them.

Turning them off

You can block or delete cookies and site storage in your browser settings. To opt out of Google Analytics across all sites, use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. You can change the ads you see in your Google ad settings and your Facebook ad preferences.

Your information

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you can ask us what information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Contact us using the details above and we will respond. We keep enquiry details while we are dealing with your enquiry and afterwards for our business records.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, tell us first. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
