Showhomes are where builders show what a home could be, so nothing gets picked by default. Working alongside Danielle Snowdon from Xtra Design, we put together a full window treatment package where each room's furnishings were chosen for how that room is actually used.

In the living spaces, soft S-fold drapes in Miesian, from our James Dunlop collection, run full height from ceiling-fixed tracks and finish just off the floor.

In the gues bedroom, texture takes over: Salamanca from our EDLP collection, falling in relaxed folds that break gently on the wool carpet. In the master bedroom, Mokum's Colourfield brings the one painterly moment in a calm home, a curtain that reads like artwork.

The kids' room got a crisp striped roman blind, neat against the black-framed window and easy to live with. And through the bathrooms, powder room, butler's pantry and lounge, white 89mm shutters carry one clean line from room to room. Wide blades, easy light control, and completely at home in wet areas where fabric simply won’t work.

That's the quiet skill in a whole-house package: it doesn't look "matched," it looks considered. Different treatments, one calm thread running through.
